Distilled and matured at the distillery in Dufftown, these specially selected casks have remained unmoved from their original warehouse ever since. It is the oldest ever bottling from direct from Mortlach distillery. ‘Singing Stills’ refers to the mysterious notes that come from the stills during distillation. Today Mortlach is revered as “The Beast of Dufftown” for the rich and complex character endowed by its uniquely complex distillation process. This is a rare chance to experience one of the world’s most singular malts from the first of just three casks distilled in 1971. The hand blown crystal bottle is presented in a stunning, elegant cabinet, which you need to know the secret to be able to open it. The cabinet is enclosed within a leather carry case.
