Distilled in 1978 and matured for 39 years in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-refill European oak Sherry casks. This rare single malt Port Ellen is the first release in the new 'Untold Stories' series by Diageo.
'The Spirit Safe' is one of only 1,500 bottles filled at natural cask strength. The black presentation cabinet is stunning and sleek and in keeping with it's name of Spirit Safe, two keys are needed to get to the interior which is lined in cream coloured suede.
