Glenfarclas 40 Year Old
Glenfarclas is one of the oldest distilleries in Speyside, and since it was purchased by John Grant in 1865 for £512, it has remained under the Grant family’s ownership. Known for its masterful use of European oak sherry casks and direct-fired stills. Though the distillery does supply blenders, it has always held a significant portion of its output for single malt bottlings, resulting in Glenfarclas retaining more significant volumes of aged stocks than most distilleries.
We recommend that you undertake close up viewing/inspection prior to placing any bid. If you require any further information or pictures please contact us.
Please note: That if insurance is not selected, due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer’s discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
