Sell your whisky in a few simple steps
Membership Registration
Our Selling Only Membership is free of charge and a very convenient way to sell whisky online. We pride ourselves in offering a reliable and efficient service that includes a free indicative valuation.
Registration is simple and can be completed by clicking the Join Here button at the bottom of this section.
Remember you can also upgrade to a Full Membership at any time. For a one-off fee of £6 inc VAT full membership is the perfect package for buying and selling on our auction.

Register your items with us using our Lot Registration Form. Each bottle registration costs £3 +VAT, for lots with multiple bottle discounts may be available, fees will be deducted from monies transferred to you on completion of sale.
Please complete the form to the best of your knowledge, ensure that you disclose any damage to the bottles and include any special facts about that you would like to include in the lot description.
We will also provide the option to place a reserve price on any of your lots to ensure a minimum hammer price. An additional fee of £4 (+VAT) per lot will be charged if you would like to add a reserve price.
During this stage you will be asked to select which transit method you would like and how you would like to be paid after the auction.
Once you have completed your registration you will receive an e-mail confirming that we have received your lot registration.
In order to prepare an item for auction, it must be with us at least prior to the bottle drop-off deadline.

Packing: Please note that we cannot accept any bottles which are open, leaking or have damaged seals. Please pack your bottles upright in a strong cardboard box with plenty of bubble wrap.
Submission Dates: Please ensure your bottles arrive prior to the lot drop-off deadline for the auction.
Drop off & Personal Collection
We have arranged the following alternative options to help you arrange delivery to us. These options include a local drop off solution and an enhanced personal collection service.

Collection Service:
We offer a fast and efficient door to door collection service in conjunction with our delivery partners DHL. Fees may apply.
Premium Collection Service:
We also offer a premium collection service for clients who may be sending multiple lots or high value items, this is an enhanced collection service provided by our auction team and we will be delighted to discuss your specific requirement. Fees may apply.

Auction
As soon as we receive your whisky our experts will conduct a detailed quality inspection, then its over to the auction team who will photograph your bottles and list them in our forthcoming auction.
When the auction goes live you will be able to track your lot and watch the progress of bids on your items, you can do this easily by using the My Sales and Dashboard feature on our website.

Payment
At Speyside Whisky Auctions we pride ourselves in paying our sellers quickly.
Once the auction is closed you will be able to view the results immediately by logging in to your account page. In addition, we will also send you an email confirming your results. The email will confirm the price achieved for your bottles and any fees associated with selling.
We aim to pay our sellers as soon as possible, normally this can take between 7 -21 days. All seller fees are deducted from the hammer price before payment is made to the seller.
